Stormy Weather

I love watching storms rolling in. The cloud formations are amazing and ever-changing, and to me, lightning is spellbinding. That is not true for our pets or our children. Our dog, Augie, tends to hide or needs to cuddle; many children do, to. It's the perfect time to cuddle together, and let your child know that he or she is safe in the storm. One way to help distract from the scary noises and flicker flashes of power and lightning is to snuggle up with child and read a peaceful, calming book. As a matter of fact, one of the first of my recorded book supplements is a reminder of how to make wonderful memories reading together during a storm. I have included it here. Feel free to share the ideas with those who have young children.
